With more than 100 million followers and a dominant global presence, Prime Minister Narendra Modi emerges as the most followed global figure on X.

By becoming the world's most followed leader on X, the social media network formerly known as Twitter, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has broken yet another milestone. With 100 million followers on all of his accounts, PM Modi has the greatest reach and influence on X, making him one of the most significant personalities in the digital sphere.

Using X as a powerful tool for connection and communication, the PM has been using the platform since he joined in 2009. His number of followers surpassed 100 million, making him much more popular than Indian politicians and even world leaders. Arvind Kejriwal, the chief minister of Delhi, has 27.5 million followers, while Rahul Gandhi, the leader of the opposition, has 26.4 million. Akhilesh Yadav of the Samajwadi Party has 19.9 million followers, while West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has 7.4 million.

The Prime Minister has a far larger following than other national politicians. For example, 6.3 million people follow fellow Indian politician Lalu Prasad Yadav, 5.2 million follow his son Tejashwi Yadav, and 2.9 million follow the leader of the Nationalist Congress Party, Sharad Pawar. When compared to celebrities in the entertainment industry as well, PM Modi has a massive fan base. On the site, he has more followers than Kim Kardashian (75.2 million), Lady Gaga (83.1 million), and Taylor Swift (95.3 million).
