have you felt the call of the moon? heard her whisper to you, and make your blood sing in a way you didn’t understand? do you feel something stirring within, that pulls you to the energy of the world? then you, my dear, might just be a witch ( and yes we do apply the term to both male and female identifying persons ). and while it’s perfectly normal to practice the craft alone, things are always better together - something this circle holds to most fondly. with twelve active members coming together in community and magic alike, the moonrise circle holds itself in high esteem.

this group verse will use a coven structure that i’ve researched and should work fairly well to ensure even distribution of magical power when performing rituals, spells, or ceremonies. i will keep a running list on this post as positions are filled.
the number of spots listed are not set in stone, but merely a suggestion ! if you really think your muse would be better in one spot than the other, even if it means leaving one side uneven, just let me know and i will consider it ! i just want things to be as fair and even as possible.
high priest and priestess : not necessarily the eldest members, but definitely considered the leaders, and ones with strong magical ability. they lead any sort of rites performed by the group and help maintain the overall energy of the coven. there is one male and one female in the position to contribue to the balance of energies. ( two spots available )
mentor - generally someone slightly older, who has been with the coven for some time. teaches the trainees the ropes of both the circle and the craft in general. ( five spots available )
trainee - typically newer members of the coven or ones who have yet to move into an official mentor position. might have strong potential with the craft that is yet to be honed by time or practice. ( five spots available )
