@indiesposition - ❄ - My muse needs help creating the perfect snow angel. Their problem is every time they stand up, they leave a hand print and scuffs around the snow angel.
Felix loved adventures. He was completely into hiking and anything outdoors, which is why he was thrilled when Eli suggested that they go and play in the snow one day. It took some negotiating and promising some favors to his coworkers, but he managed to switch shifts so that he could have Saturday free to go find some snow.
In the end, that ended up being the easiest part of the whole thing. They drove for hours and could barely find any snow. What little they did find was grey and dirty, or in too small of a patch to make a decent snowman. By the early afternoon, Felix was about to suggest that they just give up. He was hungry, and too warm -- he had worn lots of layers in the hopes of needing them since it would be so cold outside. The only thing that kept him from saying that they should head back was the look on Eli’s face when he realized they had failed.
But they kept going, and they finally found a decently sized patch of clean snow. Felix’s face lit up as he stomped through the crunchy snow. Eli busied himself starting to build a snowman, and Felix threw himself back into the snow to make a snow angel. After he had waved his arms and feet, he pushed himself up and looked back down at his handiwork, only to find that his perfect angel was smudged around the edges from when he had stood. He tried again, and again, but each time he managed to mess it up.
Felix had to admit that he needed help, so he called for Eli. It took only a second for the other boy to drop whatever he was doing and come stand above Felix’s feet. “Snow angels?” Felix grinned at Eli’s excited tone. “Yeah, but I need your help getting up without ruining it.” Eli immediately stuck his hand out, and Felix grabbed onto it with both hands. With a quick pull, Felix was standing chest to chest with Eli, and he immediately flushed at the amount of contact between them. Stepping to the side quickly, he turned to look down at the angel, to see how well they had done and to hide his red cheeks. “Perfect. Thank you, Eli.”
