Sims 4 and Negativity
There's so much negativity surrounding Sims 4 that I'm tempted to stay off social media for a few days. It's just sad, really. After yesterday's confirmation of no pools or toddlers, some people have gone totally nuts. Believe me, there is nothing wrong with voicing your opinion in a civil way, but many people have gone beyond - to hurling insults, criticizing the gurus, and just being nasty. If you don't want to buy Sims 4, that's fine, but please don't make those of us who are excited for Sims 4 feel like idiots for still wanting to buy it. Because how dare we be excited for a game that doesn't include all the features you want, right? We don't know the true reasons why pools and toddlers are excluded from the base game and really, EA doesn't owe us an explanation for every executive decision they make. Let's not jump to conclusions and say they're leaving out features because they're "rushing the game" or "money-hungry."
Sims 4 is not even out yet and people are judging the gameplay and calling it a subpar piece of crap. How about we play the game before we judge if it's good or not?
The gurus aren't allowed to discuss everything about Sims 4 and they are doing the best they can while taking so much unnecessary crap from people. As I said, if you don't want Sims 4, that's okay. No one is making you buy it. But there's a line between civil discussion/disagreement and hostility.
