RIP Legend. Today is a Death day. Blasting Individual Thought Patterns, the fifth studio album by Death. It was released on June 22, 1993, by Relativity Records. This is the first release to feature drummer Gene Hoglan and the second and last to feature bassist Steve DiGiorgio. It's one of the matured production by the death metal genius. Schuldiner's lyrics explore human facets including critiques of social norms, constructs and perceptions. Manager Eric Greif described the album as "an angry record, angry lyrically", attributing it to his conflict with Schuldiner at the time. Schuldiner is often referred to as "The Godfather of death metal". He was always this shy, "I don't think I should take the credits for this death metal stuff. I'm just a guy from a band, and I think Death is a metal band." Schuldiner was ranked No. 10 in Joel McIver's book The 100 Greatest Metal Guitarists in 2009. #death #individualthoughtpatterns #nowplaying #deathmetal #deathmetalband #chuckschuldiner #genehoglan #classicmetal #bestmetal #classicdeathmetal #metalalbum #metal #metalhead #metalart #albumart #digitalart #coverart #albumcover #album #orlando #florida #usa #americanmetal #spotify #albumoftheday #recordoftheday #albumsuggestion #metalrecords #metalalbumcovers #bestdeathmetal https://www.instagram.com/p/CIvATv6pylg/?igshid=1lc8bc7pca7kl
