Character Blather: Indraneel Aja

Random Facts:

- Indraneel was one of Vassa's High Generals. When she left the army, he ended up moving on as a rank-and-file soldier.

- Indraneel is a Scrae, an individual who is capable of using their voice as a catalyst for spells. He has trained for years and is regarded as one of the best in his order. He can, quite literally, scream people to death.

- Despite being physically imposing, Indraneel is actually a very charismatic, friendly guy. He's extremely optimistic, loyal to a fault, and always has a joke to crack.

- Vassa once described him as being "a dog with thumbs" because of his temperament.

- He has no idea when to quit. When he sets his mind to something, he's stupidly persistent about it.

- He doesn't like pants. At all. He specifically traded for his armor because of the fact they lacked greaves, and his everyday attire consists of wraps, robes, and the occasional skirt. He hates pants, he doesn't see why foreigners like them; they're so restricting and tight.

- Indraneel is currently a wanted man in Akka. After his good friend and brother-in-arms, Khari, went missing, he demanded information from a marshal. When she wouldn't talk, but taunted him about knowing something, he took a swing at her.

- As such, he spends most of his time across the sea in Zaronin. He lives primarily in Qiang, where he has a deal with an innkeeper in Tel'qiang, and he makes his living as a bodyguard and bouncer.

- He occasionally does bounty hunting work.

- He is not on good terms with his family. His parents blame him for the death of their favored child--their daughter--who drowned when the two were children.

- Indraneel still occasionally beats himself up about it.

- Vassa believes that failure is what makes him so determined to help everyone else, even at great personal cost.
