Adèle Haenel x INDRESS
I’m just putting it out there that unlike a lot of other French actresses who are usually sponsored by the big luxury maisons, Adèle Haenel has been wearing INDRESS—the boutique brand designed by Wies Schulte—since the late 2000s.
Wies still has her lovely shop in the Haut Marais, just past Café de la Poste, and I encourage you guys to pay a visit if you are ever in Paris. Visual artists like Xavier Veilhan are fans of her work, and like Adèle, have been very loyal patrons & collaborators over the years.
Christel Barras, who has cast Adèle in many films, right through Portrait of a Lady on Fire, was instrumental in having her star in a number of lookbook films for INDRESS.
Directed by Frédéric Guelaff, the films feature a number of other ingenues, like Julie Gayet; Adèle’s co-star from Naissance des Pieuvres / Water Lilies, Pauline Acquart; and Céline Sallette from Les Revenants (and was also with Adèle in L’Apollonide / House of Tolerance).
Les Solitude & Le Bel Esprit date to 2008. (x)
