Me "selling" River Phoenix to my friends (and II)

And this one was some time ago, with another of my best friends. I could never make her watching "Blade runner" and then I was trying with Phoenix.

I don't remember how we started this conversation, we talk a lot about fiction (she's the one that loves Lupin, maybe I could try that xD). The thing is she said she didn't remembered that he passed away SO young (me almost crying here) and we start talking about the films.

Me: "Haven't you watched "Stand by me"? REALLY?

She: "Nope".

Me: "Woman, you had no childhood"

She: "Yeah, I know, I was a weird one"

Me: "Yeah, me too... but come on, STAND BY ME. You MUST watch it".

She: "OK".

Me: "Have you never watched him in others? Explorers maybe?"

She: "Nope"

Me: "Nor even Indiana Jones?"

She: "Hey, I've watched all Indy ones"

Me: "Last crusade"

She: "That's my favourite Indy one".

Me: "And mine!!! He's there"

She: "I don't remember him"

Me: "HE WAS YOUNG INDY, FOR GOD'S SAKE, WOMAN"

She: "Still not remember him"

(me crying)

She: "OK, I'll watch ones with my boy"

Me: "Try SBM first"

(his boyfriend is not an homophobe but isn't a fan of "gay stuff" either so... better SBM than MOPI first, I suppose)

She: "OK"

(she's "harder" than the previous friend, so I will probably need to insist here, but she will finally fall, I know... she's not a fan of pretty girly boys or blonde ones, but hey we have some in common, Firth & Fassbender, the F factor, and he's Fénix so... xD)
