no because he knows it would probably be easier for him to just approach you but in his mind, that equals rejection automatically so he literally follows you around constantly, uses all his militia tech to keep tabs on you too. like to the point of him having all your information before he ever even speaks to you. he def sets something up to place him in your orbit, too. one of his men tries to rob you, he steps in, he's the hero. a week later, another one of his men just takes you, jason doesn't want you to think he'd hurt you; he's just keeping you safe.
he almost feels bad when you're sitting in that grimy room of the compound, shaking like a leaf. still, he remembers what was happening before, he uses the previous robbery and presses a kiss to your skin, "i'm keeping you safe, doll. you don't know me yet, but i love you, and i know everything about you." he keeps the gun pressed to your temple, it's not loaded, you don't need to know that though, you just need to stay "whaddaya say, wanna get to know me too?" and you don't really have a choice but to nod, if he did have on that mask, you would've seen him smile too.
