touhoumaniac: why do you hate roy?

He’s the BLIGHT in one of my otherwise favorite games ever: Fire Emblem 6. I dislike his character (which is a me thing, because I HATE kid heroes 90% of the time), but his greatest sin is being extremely average in his game, accentuated by the fact that he cannot promote until the very, very end, meaning he will be woefully underpowered in a pretty difficult game for most of your run. When he DOES get his signature weapon, the Sword of Seals, he only has access to it for one mission, three if you satisfied the Secret Requirements, and it comes with VERY low durability, so even then you have to ration your use of him, since’s he’ll be one of the maybe two/three units that can harm Zephiel at all (without dying in the process). In general, FUCK this boy.

indygolly: Awkward Zombie-comics + Smash-fan + FE-fan content making fun of Roy or bashing him outright barring fangirls seems not enough for you? :p

It’s like when Dissidia came out, see: There was a lot of content mocking Sephiroth, there was a clear bashing of the dude (alongside the love), he was a walking joke, but it didn’t give me the ability to beat the crap out of him with me own two hands, see. Then Dissidia gave me that power, it allowed me to absolutely pulverize Sephiroth. Only then it was enough.

(Jest aside for a moment, take all my posts with the facetiousness they come with. Bashing Roy is a long-standing tradition in this household but I have no qualms against his fans or anything, I just like bullying him)

Your post about not being able to hug fictional characters had me thinking of posts where people were able to have physical touch contact with them (even if separated by a screen), like PokeAmie in Pokemon-games and stuff. Who knows, maybe one day in the future we can reach what we're yearning to do (Also, depending on what kind of person they are, I bet you feeling empathy to them makes them really appreciate and think happily of you)
