Preparing to run into the ol' ex. #idomissyou #illnevertell #partyrehearsals #ineedbetterthingstodo
So bored I think I'll write a book.
Leo was different. She could remember everything. She could remember her birth, she could remember herself growing inside her mother. Her limbs sprouting; it wasn’t painful but even when she did not understand the process from which she was formed she realized it was strange. She was but a lump of clay being stretched and formed until her warm home became a trap. So it was perplexing to her when she could not remember where she saw this odd-looking boy before. He wasn’t handsome but he wasn’t ugly either. It was his unusual features that caught her off-caught. He was tall and lanky with a waist too skinny for an boy over 6’ feet. It almost looked like he would break in half but even then he did not look weak. His arms half concealed under a loose faded sky-blue T-shirt with the American flag reminded her of young sapling bark, lean but strong and brown with veins wrapped around like vines. His hands were the roots, un-proportional but somehow fitting. She stared at his hands for a long time trying to determine this man-boy’s age in front of her without looking at his face. His hands confused her; they seemed aged; not old or weak but experienced and skilled. She wanted to look up but a sudden irrational fear caught hold of her.
