I don't do this ever but, after the last few weeks, I figured it was time. The picture on the left was Spring Break 2015, I was happy and healthy. I was able to hike trails in Arizona and see the Grand Canyon. I looked so beautiful at 115 lbs and no, I was never "fat". The picture on the right was me a few days ago; I will not post that weight but as you can see, I'm smaller now. As depression and life happen, so did my eating disorder (something I've struggled with my whole life, but who doesn't haven't body issues?). I relapsed and it wasn't okay, it's not. But it happens in recovery. It does not make me a failure, it makes me #human. I have anorexia but it doesn't have me. I'm a #survivor and continue to be one. With the support of my family, best friends and my wee little puppers, I'm (slowly but surely) getting to where I need to be. It's been hard. A constant battle of eat or not eat. But you know, I'm not my disease. I'm Katt and that's never changed. 👽👻😈🎃 #mentalhealthawareness #mentalhealthmatters #anorexiasurvivor #everythingscomingupmilhouse #iamnotmydisease #ineedmeatonthesebones #ILoveMyselfTheWayIAm #TheresBeautyInEverything #mydiseasedoesnotdefineme
