So this is stupid but...

So my ex-boyfriend bought me this beautiful scarf while he was in Spain a couple semesters ago while we were still together. Like, it’s seriously such a beautiful scarf. It looks like the rose window of a cathedral and he said it appealed to him because it’s green like my eyes. Well we broke up last semester and it’s currently in my closet buried under all of my other 50 million scarves. I really want to wear it. Like, it’s beautiful and I get so many compliments on it but I just can’t… Do I even have the right to do that? I don’t even know if it’s mine anymore. I just can’t bring myself to wear it. And I want to but I feel like crying every time I see it. Help.
