Aziraphale and Crowley enjoy the human habit of wearing gloves. It helps them fit in with human society, especially now that they are retired.

Ineffable Holiday 2022 - December 8 - Plants

Crowley's taken Muriel out for some holiday shopping and they've returned to the bookshop with some plants "for Aziraphale." Crowley is going to use his wiles for as long as he can get away with it. Muriel doesn't know any better, so she can't thwart him. Aziraphale already knows what his snakey husband is up to.

Ineffable Holiday 2022 - December 18 - Menorah

Tonight is the first night of Hannukah, which perseverance, faith in the face of daunting odds, and miracles. Our boys can definitely relate and it's one of their favorite human holidays. Were either of them involved in miracle-ing 8 days worth of oil for the Temple?

Ineffable Holiday 2022 - December 17 - Mall Santa

I imagine there aren't any malls in the South Downs, but certainly a local Christmas market with a Santa stop. Crowley wanted a turn being Santa this year, and Aziraphale agreed, as long as Crowley gave each child a blessing. Crowley is more than happy to bless children, while Aziraphale the Elf gives out candy canes with a little extra ethereal goodness.

Ineffable Holiday 2022 - December 9- Candlelight

Candlelight dinner at a cozy restaurant near the bookshop. It's not posh, but it's quiet and there's always a corner booth available for them (courtesy of the owners, no miracle needed). A Friday night dessert, a loving look and tender touch is all they need.

Ineffable Holiday 2022 - December 11 - Holiday Movies

I'm a wee bit late getting this done. I can't get enough of them cuddling on the couch. Instead of the usual book and mobile, they've decided to check out a sappy seasonal romance. Do snakes like belly scritches? This one does.

Ineffable Holidays 2022 - December 31 - Champagne

As The World moves into 2023 A.D., Aziraphale and Crowley have decided to have a lovely spa night in. I imagine they have a little outdoor set up at their cottage with a claw tub big enough for two. After a lovely soak, they are enjoying champagne so they can toast the New Year. Happy 2023 to all! May the new year bring you everything you like best, especially health, happiness, and creativity.
