You know it's really easy to call the Jedi stupid for not figuring out about Order 66 and Palpatine and all that shit, but it's an easy way out of acknowledging how fucking terrifying Palpatine is as a villain. He had every little thing planned out, from letting Dooku train an apprentice so everyone would assume that he was the master to knowing that the Jedi would bond with and trust the clones with their lives to knowing just how to pull every string to play Anakin into his hands.

But you're right, the Jedi were just too stupid to predict their own genocide, and therefore deserved it.

I just need to vent somewhere. My step-dad is leaving us. Out of nowhere he just announces he's leaving while my mom sits there and cries. He knows we can't afford this house on our own. He knows we're already renting from his parents. But I don't think it's gonna matter. He's still leaving. He talked about how he just hadn't been happy. No kidding. He was a grade a jerk to my mom and me and my brother. He's been verbally abusive since I was 10. I've never liked him. I've always dealt with him for my mom's sake, but she knew I hated him. He's a sexist over controlling ass hole. Who made my child hood miserable. And now he's pussying out. Well. He can go fuck himself. Now I'm gonna have to pry get a second job or my mom will and that's gonna put so much strain on her. She has a lot of back problems that she's getting treatment for and I don't know how we're gonna pay for them and the house now. Especially if we can't rent it from his parents anymore we may have to buy it and get an actual mortgage. I feel so sick. I was finally starting to feel happy. And he does this. I don't even know what we're gonna do I'm scarred.
