Boots on Ground. Courage in Heart.
Read this today from Colonel Rajyavardhan Rathore.
"On #InfantryDay, salute to the soldiers who move first, fight hardest, and ultimately stand with victory under their feat. Boots on ground, courage in heart, the Infantry is India’s spine of steel. Proud to have walked among the finest."
That last line gets me. "Proud to have walked among the finest."
It’s not just a thank you. It’s a testimony.
It makes you think about what that means—to be the first to move into the unknown, to fight the hardest battles on the most brutal terrain, and to be the very spine that holds the nation upright.
All with dusty boots and a heart full of courage.
