okay, why haven't i seen anyone talking about how mass!avid just straight of up LIES in the first 5.5 minutes of the new mass video?
at 5:19, avid is in the middle of his solo intro when he says "thanks to our island partner and life-long best friend, marmalade" ..... that's not true? avid and marm were far from life long friends, they just met not that long ago before they got teleported to skyblock—or, they only became friends in the recent few years at most.
well, not true for avid. for the mass? it would make for much more of a truth. she has been the masses only friend since it was born.
it was obvious that the mass is changing him / taking over his mind, but it is scrambling his memories at a much faster rate than i think we all imagined. start of season avid would never forget when he met marm, NOR do i think he would call her his best friend in canon after she 'killed his best friend with her research'.
