Examining attitudes and opinions around the policies concerning LGBT people in Alberta

Hey everyone! as part of my fourth year in university, I get the opportunity to do an independent research project. My project is taking the form of a survey on attitudes and opinions regarding LGBT school policy. Oof ok so I finally got around to reading your updates (3 whole chapters!!! I was very behind) and can I just say how excited I am to see this journey come to an end! The stuff with koh has me feeling a genuine sense of dread, and I honestly can’t predict how he will be incorporated. But there’s so many things I love about the last 3 chapters, like zuko’s very in-character rampage in order to seek vengeance, with just that hint of avatar maturity to destroy Shinu in a personal way instead of 1/2

Outright killing him. Also LuXin wearing their sleeves cut so everyone knows is amazing. I was so scared for them to see Iroh again but it went so well and of course Iroh loves his two sons. I’m kinda sad hanxin can’t be healed but I think it’s also part of his character development and reminds of the grief he felt when lu ten was gone, because a few months together won’t totally make up for the sadness of years apart. As well, I too am an unapologetic jet fan and was happy to see him back. 2/3

I just really like his development and the relationships he has forms with FN people and willingness to work with what he thinks are former enemies to get the big bad. I know you mentioned jet and zuko see lu ten as a mentor figure, but I also see a parallel in jet having crushes on both zuko and lu ten, and not getting what he wants from either of them. Jet had zuko there for a bit, and fucked it up. Now his crush on lu ten is unresolved. Anyway, as always, love your work and can’t wait for more

Tbh, I will really miss getting your asks every couple of months commenting on the past few chapters; it’s always so nice hearing from you :) anyways, so much excitement to come! I’m glad you’re enjoying these recent chapters! Especially Jet and his unfortunate crushes... poor guy, idk how things will end up with him, but I’ve definitely had so much fun with his redemption arc of sorts. 

Thank you for sticking with this series so long. I promise it will be so worth it 🧡💛😄

Helloooooo ok so I just got through that amazzzinggggg 3 chapter update. Holee wow you sure delivered!! The scenes with Azusa were unexpected, but so great. Her relationship with song was so believable and tender, I can’t wait to see how they interact again, even if it’s not romantic. And tbh I’m scared for zuko, I cannot was to see how the finale plays out bc you’re setting us up for something very very big

ahhhhh ! thank you, I’m glad you enjoyed it and that Azula / Song did the job for you. I was hesitant about writing F/F but it was really fun and I’m proud of how it turned out. 

The big finale will be just that: big, stupendously so. I’m scared too, for myself :D because there’s so much to tie together in epicness. Hopefully I will do it justice :)

Oof so it’s been a while but I finally read the latest chapter!! Very beautiful as always, and the ~romantic~ scenes were very tender, and not at all clunky bc of the lack of Hanxins voice. Also, I love your descriptions and background notes on all the different foods. I’m Métis, and all our cultural foods are kinda bland, so your writing really makes me want to try all of them!

ahhh my friend thank you so much! I think food = love for me; i just had a bowl of beef noodle soup today and it was amazing mmmmm :P

I know you were nervous about this latest chapter formatting, but it was so good!! That was a part I was waiting for Zuko to have for a long time (even in the original series) and you wrote it so beautifully! I think it was something Zuko really needed, and the conclusion is just very... him. It’s satisfying to see him and Aang work through some things they desperately needed to, while keeping them in character

So i'm gonna be leaving tumblr for a while. It's seriously so full of hatred. I don't understand how people can devote their blogs and large portions of their lives to trying to hurt others, but they do. It makes me very frustrated to see young people get involved in this and hurt because of it. I've set up a queue for my absence, but I definitely need a break.
