I feel like, overall, they each have a deep respect and understanding of one another. They strike me as having the type of relationship where they can each recognize and appreciate the strengths the others have, while also not being afraid to call them out for any self-destructive behaviors they may fall into. As for the specifics…
Grovyle/Dusknoir: they definitely respect each other, and in some cases might regard the other with a cautious awe. I imagine Dusknoir is both impressed and frightened by how hardy and persistent Grovyle can be, even in the face of great adversity, while Grovyle might appreciate how well-learned and capable Dusknoir is, while maybe also giving him some good natured shit about how he tends to overcomplicate things
Celebi/Grovyle: I think their relationship will have evolved from how it was in the game. I imagine Celebi, being more relaxed around Grovyle now, isn’t afraid to tease him, especially when he enters his Stoic Savior of the World mode. On the flip side, I imagine Grovyle sometimes gets exacerbated with her bright and possibly flippant personality, but recognizes and appreciates how, despite sometimes being silly, she’s still intensely powerful and can achieve pretty much anything she sets her mind to
Dusknoir/Celebi: I feel like this is the one that gets explored the least, so have a bit of freedom of imagination :3 I can imagine Celebi feeling a bit sorry for Dusknoir regarding his life in the dark future, and how, after the fact, he didn’t really have anyone to go back to (other than the sabelye maybe). I always imagined she was the one who suggested they make a team together, probably to his great surprise. I think Dusknoir would be surprised and impressed that, despite living in the same dismal future, Celebi can be so bright and cheerful, somehow bringing some joy wherever she goes.
