Amelia’s breath was ragged as she looked around the forest. Something...felt wrong. Wrong. Like some twisted film noir horror movie, where the killer strikes.

She could hear Steve yelling at Thor, but she felt cold. Bucky? Where was Bucky?

She heard his voice and her mind smiled. “See? He’s alright. Bucky is al--”

But then she turned...and saw his face, filled with confusion, a twinge of fear. Amelia was about to ask what was wrong, but he just...faded away. Dissolved like ash before lowing into the wind and vanishing... Just...gone...

“Bucky! No! No, no... Bucky!” Amelia cried out, stumbling over to him, only to collapse and just stare at the spot where he once stood. “Bucky!”

“BUCKY!”

She woke up screaming, panting heavily for breath as she lied there in darkness. It...It was a dream. It was a dream, only a nightmare. She was back home with...

But when she turned over, she saw the bed was bare, her heart stopped for a beat as her stomach sank, and she let out a blood curling scream of ‘no’.

Quick sketch and color of the Infinite Nightmare, the figure that has haunted Felicitys sleep for as long as she can remember and one of the bosses encountered about 1/3 of the way through the game

Supposedly a manifestation of Felicitys greatest fear, though she has never known who or what it is. Ingame it fights by transforming into the player characters fears and by constantly making you second guess your own actions. In the end, it is only defeated by Felicity convincing herself it isnt real and forcefully expelling it from her mind
