The first thing Neku did when it was all over? Well, I'm sure you already know. He was a bit phased when he found himself back at the scramble crossing, thinking for a moment or two that it'd all been a huge joke and he had to go through seven more days of hell, but his worries were dispelled when someone bumped into him. They didn't apologize, and his arm ached a bit, but it was nice. Nice to feel that contact again, even if it was going to take some getting used to.

The missions weren't over yet, though, not if you asked Neku. There was one final thing he had to do before he could live his life, and he ran with all his speed to the statue where he'd promised to meet that girl two weeks ago. He didn't know what she'd look like, but he was sure he'd be able to spot her.

She'd have that stupid little big with her, after all, wouldn't she? When he arrived, though... It was easier to spot her than he'd imagined. It didn't occur to him for even a second that it could be Eri he'd spotted instead, though. It was definitely Shiki. He wasn't sure how he knew. He just did.

The shock didn't last long, though. It didn't matter what she looked like. The important thing is that she was back. Both of them were. All that was left now was to walk over to her and say something.

"Shiki Misaki, I presume." Yeaaah. Let's never do that ever again. Joshua might have been able to pull off that daft sort of greeting, but it really wasn't Neku's thing, was it?
