I think it'd be fun to concentrate an inflation spell in the flesh of the cheeks so the cute dumb balloon struggles to speak :3

Sloshy muffled words or outright unable to open their lips enough to speak at all and are reduced to "Mmph mmph!" and similar~

You know, I could see it. A lot of spells require Verbal Components, so Yeah, I could see a spell that slurs/muffles the speech of the target, making so any spells they try to cast have disadvantage. Needing to make a save to see if they can make the incantations correctly ;3

I'm thinking 2nd or 3rd level. It's a bit niche, but shutting down a caster is powerful late game. I'm thinking 3rd, same as Counterspell. As much as Counterspell guarantees 1 spell to fail, this gives a 50% of the next handful of spells to fail

Only 3 hrs into a 13hr shift. This is going to be a long and boring one. Please send me some asks. Can be about anything. Blueberry, helium, water, slime, non inflation stuff, whatever.

And while I'm at it, I've continued work on my d&d inflation supplement and am brainstorming ideas for inflation based subclasses, so feel free to also send ideas for spells you'd use as an inflation or slimeflation mage ;3

Not opposed to making new spells, but don't want this project to get too...bloated ;3
