This is what hunters do, they try to kill the biggest bears to boost their egos and then take photos of the size of the bear paws for bragging rights within the hunting community. _ A lot of memes are floating around the net saying that this bear was sedated and tagged but those are LIES made up by some random Reddit user. _ This is the real story - The bear was shot and killed by trophy hunter, Charlie Shutt, outside of Anchorage. The woman holding the paw is Brandi Houser, a friend of the family who was with him when the bear was killed. She also hunts bears.
