too tired to write up her full bio tonight but, basic rundown for the moment:  her name’s rephel. at least, that’s the name she’s adopted since coming to earth. She came, fleeing a trial for crimes she didn’t commit... all she wanted to do was blend seamlessly into this world, into the culture of ancient Greece... never draw attention to herself. That’s not so easy to do. Not when you have ethereal golden wings... true, they only appear in moments of distress, or when she wants them to. But, they were seen. And in moments, she went from a strange, unfamiliar traveler in the land... to a goddess, protecting the town and chasing enemies away... 

it’s been centuries since that event took place. times have changed. her people have extraordinarily long lifespans, thus meaning Rephel has been forced to adopt new personas throughout the years. Her current?  An angel ---  she goes by Raphael when appearing to people, taking over the guise of an archangel. modeled her current chosen name after that, telling people her mother was extremely religious --- overseeing the latest city she’s settled into, appearing as a warning of coming disasters, taking it upon herself to guide them. Though, she does tend to wander from time to time. She hates the feeling of being trapped in one area, so she’ll venture off to neighboring cities, even other countries, just to see all that’s changed. 

important notes: 

she always keeps her face covered in the moments she  ‘ appears ‘  to people to ensure she’s not recognized, and her life isn’t disrupted by them connecting the dots. 

prior to her fleeing her home, she was an accomplished fighter. There would be matches in arenas and she’d often win... which is where the crime she was accused of comes in. One of her opponents --- the only one who’d managed to beat her --- was found dead, and it was widely believed that, and all evidence pointed to the belief that, Rephel had killed her. Trials were extremely biased on her world, so she took her chances running instead of facing a possible execution
