More about Chip and some world building??

General info:
Name: Christopher “Chip” Weston
Species: Cornsnake naga
Age: 28
Height: 5'9", total length ~16ft
Build: Fit, slight tummy pooch
Orientation: pansexual
Shy but a sweetheart. Genuinely just an all around nice guy, if a bit of a loner.
He’s a cat lover- Can’t own a cat at his current residence, but does have an embarrassingly large collection of cute cat merch.
He eats a lot of (sometimes raw) cut-up meat (rabbit, chicken and such). Can and does eat other things though. Technically an omnivore
Family:
Chip’s full legal name, after having it changed from just “Cornchip”, is Christopher Weston. Chip stuck around as a nickname.
Chip was born (hatched?) in captivity and doesn’t really remember anything about his birth parents. The first human family he lived with essentially bought him off the black market. While they weren’t cruel to him, they really never realized how much work a baby naga could be and gave him up when he was barely a toddler.
His adoptive parents are Grace and Andrea Weston. Both are human.
Grace is a multi-species doctor. Andrea works/worked in tech, but is currently a stay-at-home mom. They have adopted three kids together - Chip, a mostly human (with some “monster” heritage) boy named Micheal, and a harpy girl named Melissa. Micheal is 12 year old and Melissa is 10, both being adopted when Chip was older.
Due to being raised by humans, he has had little exposure to naga “culture”.
Eggs:
Chip began laying eggs in early adulthood, once he reached full maturity.
He is essentially intersex, having both sets of reproductive organs to some degree, which is actually a fairly common (and celebrated) thing among nagas.
He is virtually infertile/sterile, with the chance of an actual pregnancy taking place being slim to none.
Typically lays a couple of times a year, usually in early spring and then again in late summer. Clutches are usually 3-6 eggs, though for any egg laying nagas, frequent sexual stimulation can result in larger clutches, both in egg size and number.
Could, in theory, carry for others as a surrogate. He’s toyed with the idea because it would be good money, but otherwise isn’t crazy about the idea.
Current Life:
He exists in the same universe as Taro and Lucien, which is a city filled with “Monsters" called Anghenville. (Which is a play on the welsh word for monster, anghenfil.) There is quite a bit of mingling between the humans and monsters, especially the more human-like ones.
He lives in an apartment and runs a small electronics repair business out of it.
He is currently single. Dating Vale. It’s an on again-off again kind of deal. They’ve stayed friends/friends with benefits though.
