I dunno what or who this binary bard you're posting is but I love him and want to give it a high five

He's fantastic.

Mordred was a renowned inventor in the kingdom Arturus, admired and praised for his work. But when he started to play with dark sciences, bioengineering and cybernetics, the king jailed him. But he managed to escape and continued to work in an underground laboratory until the royal guards found him, upon which he escaped into space on a rudimentary spacecraft he built.

The princess of the kingdom didn't see what Mordred did as blasphemous or wrong and admired him, and so she became involved in a secret organization which believed Mordred was still alive out in space and made efforts to contact him. She succeeded... and it led to an attack from space on the kingdom of Arturus and her kidnapping. The king sent out three knights into space to retrieve her, but they never returned.

The player (this is a game) enters the fray, picks up context and hints about what's happened, and vows to the king that they will return all four of his lost people. Player gathers all they can and finds a way into space, set out to search three planets for the princess and the knights. They first reach the moon, where they are equipped with a better ship and told of violent attacks by a space lord called the Binary Bard.

On each planet, Player found a knight who believed the princess was being guarded by a monster on the planet. Player finds a legendary weapon on each planet and battles the monsters. Upon defeat, the monsters turned out to be decoy robots built by Mordred, and they continue the search. Once Player rescues all three knights and has all three legendary weapons, they discover a strange asteroid and land on it, finding a key stuck in a stone with an inscription stating that only the Chosen One can open some mysterious portal. The knights realize the chosen one is Player and insist that whatever lies ahead will be their battle to fight. Player opens and enters the portal alone.

Entering a new dimension, Player finds a large fortress and the princess standing outside it, draped in clothes the same color as Mordred's. She urgently tells the player she needs the legendary weapons to defeat Mordred. But when Player hands them over, she shifts to reveal that she is actually Mordred, who now calls himself the Binary Bard and is a cyborg, stating that he will be king of the universe with the princess at his side. He vanishes into the fortress. Player soon breaks in after him.

Inside they find the real princess trapped, and she reveals that trusting the Bard was a mistake and that he now plans to marry her, destroy his home planet, and rule the universe. The Binary Bard gets inside a mech and the two battle until Player and the princess prevail and return to Arturus with the knights, abandoning the Binary Bard in another dimension with no means of escape.

This actually isn't the end of his tale, but that's his main storyline!

What can he do aside from existing like a normal demon?

As the former angel of forgetfulness, he can sense when one is in sorrow and helps them “forget”/move on with just putting his palm on their forehead. He’s also the angel of sleep, so he’s your go-to person when you can’t sleep.

The fall added a bit more to his powers—he can make you feel extremely hopeless and lost to the point it drives you to insanity. He can give you nightmares of the dead people you grieve, and forcefully take your soul and send it into oblivion, leaving your body as an empty shell of what it was once before.
