Infortrend RAID’s per SNMP abfragen

Anfrage: Wenn ich eine SNMP Abfrage auf unser Infortrend RAID laufen lasse, erhalte ich nur ganz wenige Ergebnisse zurück. Es fehlen alle wichtigen Angaben zu den Netzwerkinterfaces und Zustände der Disks.

Lösung: Wenn man z.B.mittels snmpwalk eine Abfrage macht, dann startet dieser Walk bei der OID .1.3.6.1.2 (iso.org.dod.internet.mgmt). Die Infortrend OID’s sind jedoch unter iso.org.dod.internet.private.enterprises.infortrend zu finden. Ein entsprechender Walk müsste dann so aussehen:

snmpwalk -c <Community> -v 1 <IP-Adresse Infortrend> .1

So können alle Werte komplett ausgelesen werden und z.B. in einem Monitoringtool wie Check_MK eingebunden werden.

Tip: Ein sehr schönes Tool zum Auslesen und Überwachen von Infortrend Geräten heißt OpStor (Manage Engine) und gibt es unter https://www.manageengine.com/products/opstor/download.html. Leider wird die Software nicht mehr weiterentwickelt, aber lässt weiterhin noch herunterladen.
