She haddemanded it for the upteeth time now, and he finally managed to stoplaughing at how serious she was being and did as he was asked. Aerithwaved her hands in front of him, slowly, making sure he wasn'tcheating. But now that those sky blue eyes were hidden behind lidsand he seemed to be concetrating on not laughing, she could focus.Focus on his smug smile, focus on how he sat across from her. One legoutstretched, the other bent with his arm resting on it. His otherhand behind him holding him up. Still with that smug smirk on hisface from all the laughing. She moved forward, on her hands andknees, watching him carefully to make sure he wasn't peaking.
“Keep themclosed...”
Sheconfirmed, though he was sure to note her voice was much closer now.Close enough that he could feel her presence just in front of him.She wondered if he could hear her heartbeat too with those superSOLDIER powers of his. She brushed his bangs back and the smugness ofhis smile mellowed, leaning slightly toward the touch of her hand.She placed the other hand on his cheek and the boy melted slightlybetween her fingers. She let a slight scoff escape her lips, almostin a typical Zack sort of tone. She made sure his eyes werestill closed, leaning forward slightly for a hesitant, chaste kiss tohis lips that lingered longer than a few seconds. It caused the FairSOLDIER to tense, becoming almost statuesque until she pulled awayfrom him. Scuttling across the floor as if nothing had happened andsitting across from him with blush tinting her cheeks. Zack's jawwent slack a gloved hand coming up to brush where a flower girl hadtouched them.
“Okay you canopen them.”
Well what happens if I just keep them closed? And there thesmugness returned.
