For those who have offered to accompany me to chemo, this is why I gratefully decline: the infusion room in Dr. Vlad’s office isn’t exactly roomy or welcoming. The people getting chemo get the comfy chairs (usually every one is taken), and I’m usually only there for an hour or so.
