Fic: Tell the World We Finally Got it Alright (Merlin/Arthur)

I wrote this for Merlin Hols this year! It’s been a while since I had so much fun writing a fic, and it’s the longest I’ve written in a few years as well. Writing this basically got me through autumn.

Tell the World We Finally Got it Alright  M/A, 31k.

Summary: It’s the most beautiful time of the year and Merlin can’t wait to open his regular stall at the Ealdor Christmas Festival for weeks of handmade cards, wreaths, ice skating, not so secret Secret Santas, and cozy evenings with friends and family. But when newcomers Morgana and Arthur mistakenly intrude on his territory, Merlin isn’t sure he can embrace the season and overcome bad first impressions.

Yet December in Ealdor brings its own kind of magic that doesn’t care for petty rivalries.

💞: i think you would be really cute with Ashton? You have similar minds when it comes to creativeness and creating videos is like a /thing/ you do 

🌄: If you met Luke at a library he is the colleges established bad boy, with people stumbling over their feet to get to Luke first, you however have been focusing on film studies, and don’t want to mess that up. So you’re sitting in the corner of the library, and a slightly winded Luke comes stumbling through the main entrance. He spots you and unbuttons one of the buttons on his white shirt, letting it billow in the wind from the A/C. Luke all but saunters towards you, while you are none the wiser. All of a sudden the chair beside you is pulled away from the table and you get hyperaware of Luke beside you. You’d say something along the lines of “Can i help you?” and he would explain a situation about some ex girlfriend that wont leave him alone, leaving you a little surprised. but you play along as you see some brunette closing in on you. “Trust me?” you’d ask as you leaned closer. a brief nod lets you know he does, and you kiss him, just to make her go away. you don’t anticipate actually liking the kiss. Sooner or later you pull away, with the girl nowhere in sight, and place a hand a little too high on his thigh. “Gonna be good and quiet for me?” and his eyes would glaze over for a few seconds as you do your thing, and its the hottest shit hes ever done (surprised? so was he) cause you were actually studying your book as your hand played with him

Congrats on 900 followers!! I know we don’t speak much but you seem really sweet and deserve it so much!! 💞 a little about me, I’m a fairly timid and anxious person. The majority of my money is spent impulsively (and painfully) on concerts and I spend my free time writing and listening to music or watching movies. 🌄 - making the dinner with a boy of your choice - thank you!! 💞:Mikey Cliffo, because he loves how similar you are in creative ways, he writes music, you write stories (i assume, lol) 

🌄: I think that Michael, that boy ain’t to bright in the kitchen, so sometimes you would try to teach him how to make like simple, yet good dishes. Most of the time he is really attentive, and tries really hard, yet other times all he does is stand behind you and kiss your neck, with his arms around your waist. However, after a long day at uni, you would come home to a dimly lit house, and find him in the kitchen with a three course dinner, that he learned from you, and a bottle of something really good to drink ya know? then he would charm you out of your pants and into bed;)

🌄: I think one of the things you would do with Luke is sleEP, cause between studying and recording, there isn’t a lot of time left for intimacy. So the thing is both of you cuddle up in bed and just stay there for a while, even though you sometimes do…. other stuff…. you mostly talk about your days, evenings anything in between
