Mr Arod McNayr caught quite a large bear in the woods south of this place last week. Owing to the early season in which he was caught he was not burdened with fat.

The examination of Inglisville School was held on the 22nd inst in the presence of a number of visitors. The scholars were examined in reading, geography, history and arithmetic, interspersed with recitations and dialogues.
