So Chimamanda ngozy was ask if it matters how you arrived to be a women? And if a trans woman is less of a woman cause part of her live she lived the "privileges" of being a "man" and her response broke my heart. Basically she said that trans women are trans women like they are a separate thing and that is difficult for her to accept that trans women experience is equally as valid as the experience of a woman cause they enjoy the privilege of being "male". The other screen captures are from a transgender activist that brilliantly responds to her bulshit. I have admire her work for years but although I acknowledge all the positive things she has done and helped me realize I can't support her anymore after this ignorant comments with transphobic undertones. Transgender women don't "switch" gender when they start transitioning or when they get rrs or ffs surgery they're born being transgender woman they don't get to "enjoy" the privilege of being male cause they haven't transitioned actually I think is the opposite we go through so much shit and misogyny for not fitting into gender norms of being male or female only an ignorant cis people would think our struggle is a privilege.
