Harmony, Farmer's Markets & World Peace
As a musician, harmony has always been at the forefront of my existence. Whenever I hear a song or any musical piece I listen and relish in the movement of intervals; those delicious Vivaldi suspensions, the solid soldier-like blocks of the gregorian chants marching with purpose, or the counterpoint of John Mayer's music.
I might have a bit of a skewed perception in believing that music is the greatest force in the universe and like Plato, that all planets are in constant song, nevertheless, I'm sticking to it.
I love that part of my job in this world is to add my harmony to Forest's music. We can add harmony to everything that surrounds us by planting a flower, sharing a smile, expressing gratitude and most importantly by practicing our gifts, whatever that may be. I do believe that if we all followed our talents and created from there the world would sing a beautiful song. It's like finding our own pitch and thus resounding in the symphony of existence.
Now that you know more about my obsession with harmony and balance, (we've been doing a whole new way of eating as well, but more on body harmony in a later post) I have to share my latest and most exciting discovery in the world of skincare. I found and alchemist at the San Rafael's Sunday Farmer's Market who makes my skin sing in perfect harmony. My version of a skin alchemist: he takes pure ingredients and creates skin magic. This is probably the first time I've found a skin product a love ... seriously.
Kim is a perfect example of being one's own frequency in the world and creating from the heart. His products are pure, thrilling and healing ... and of all things, affordable. Does it get any better that that?
