Did you know that in the US, 1 in 4 girls will not finish high school, 1 in 5 are victims of childhood sexual abuse and 78% under the age of 17 are unhappy with their bodies? When Amber heard these statistics, she decided to do something about it. She started by helping to raise money and awareness for @girlsinc, a #nonprofit that aims to diminish these statistics. They provide programs that help build #confidence in over 140,000 #girls in the US and Canada. From #fitness to mentoring, Girls Inc. focuses on #supporting girls in whatever challenges they may face as a girl growing up in the 21st century. Amber is hosting the first ever #InHerCorner charity fundraiser tomorrow night at the @sohohouse in #NYC. Tickets are still available, and donations are always welcome. Support girls. They are our next generation of women. Amber is an accomplished model, (most notably featured in @aerie's #aeriereal campaigns) entrepreneur, and supporter of good people and cool things.
