@inheroic // im going to come for robin bc i thought about this at 5 am and ritsu must just went fucking HOG WILD
They all knew Vivian’s wine was a dangerous thing, and yet that isn’t going to stop Ritsu from drinking just enough to get dizzy. It’s more fun that way, too. Ritsu knows they’re the overly affectionate sort when inebriated and sometimes it’s amusing to find Servants and compliment them into submission when Ritsu can’t get flustered in revenge.
Robin’s only in their periphery physically, but he still occupies most of their thoughts. A wineglass dangles from their hand as they proceed to tug Robin out of the room until they’re not anywhere near onlookers (it’s hard, with Robin’s perpetual fae entourage! But Ritsu shall succeed), one of the available rooms for guests. They turn to Robin once there and finally deign to explain themselves (whoops, poor Robin, he probably thought Ritsu was after a quickie. Too bad! It’s appreciation time.)

Allies are hard to deal with, and this rayshift has no shortage of them. It’s a hassle. It’s easier for Alter to simply pick a direction and kill whoever happens to be in his way there, but of course he’s obligated to follow Haru’s instructions. Protect the weak, don’t let any of these allies or traveling companions get hurt. Not even the humans.
If Alter feels annoyed under the obligations, he figures it must be orders of magnitude worse for Haru. Even in moments of relative calm as is current (who knows how long that will last, probably not very long. He’s watchful even now). Alter sought Haru out to lurk alongside him a bit ago, slouching a little to make their height difference marginally less inconvenient. It’s a while still before Alter breaks the quiet. “You’re welcome to rely on us more, you know. You don’t have to force yourself to stay at the front lines or watch what happens to the people there.” Plenty of commanders don’t. Sometimes it’s cowardice, sometimes it’s practical. Sometimes forcing yourself to stay mired is more dangerous.

“RIKKO! Valentine’s is soon! Do. You. Know. What. This. Meaaaaans?” Yeah, probably. It’s not either of their first rodeo. Yet Ritsu is still here, flinging themselves into her space and pointing a dramatic finger towards her.
“It means we should probably sequester supplies now, before we die, and I will help you make candies for our combined population of Servants if we can help each other actually eat all of everyone’s gifts together also, because if any of it goes unappreciated I couldn’t morally handle it.”

ah, tatsuo’s reactions are always so delightful! no wonder he’s chaldea’s favourite chew toy. azathoth does not take it back, just stays grinning widely at tatsuo. he knows. he knows tatsuo knows. it’s not going to be azathoth who breaks first. “come now, i was told it’s important to keep your pets on a leash.”
a half-second before his head tilts a little, as if an idea stuck him and he’s barely holding back a snicker. “i’ll get you a bell and name tag too, if you like.” come on now, tatsuo. this is a game of chicken to see if you put it on first. because azathoth really, really wants to see tatsuo give up and accept his fate.

how are maenad and azathoth enjoying the enma-tei? (because tatsuo is far too busy to pay attention)
There was quite a scuffle over whether Azathoth was even allowed or able to cross the bridge to the Enma-Tei, cursed creature and unholy divine as he is. Obviously, he stepped over the sparrows in the confusion and made himself perfectly comfortable in the lobby with the excuse of “you’re using my pet boy for labour, I should be able to oversee him.”
It wasn’t a very liked excuse but it sure was... an excuse. He could not be evicted, and has since been spending his time waiting for Tatsuo’s repairs to get to the onsen portion, evaluating the Enma-Tei’s tea, and occasionally deigning to kick enemies around for Tatsuo’s gathering.
Meanwhile, Maenad skips past, occupied in her own ventures. She’s having fun!
While nice and quiet inns aren’t really her thing, turns out there’s a number of Servants who brought in drinks. Thanks, Lu Bu and Jing Ke. She’s spending her nights with then and days out adventuring in the forest.
So, maybe she brings back some bundles of resources she just happened to stumble upon, it all works out.

“master, for someone like you to hold onto my hand, as death, it’s a little... you shouldn’t, you know.”
@inheroic
Maenad doesn’t mean to intimidate Tatsuo (this time!), but she’s not exactly going to complain that his eyes go huge and his stress levels seem to skyrocket when she boxes him in against the wall. She might have used a little too much force and ended up shaking the wall a bit when she slapped her hand near Tatsuo’s face to keep him from escaping, but oh well!
“Hey there, Master.” It’s like she can watch his hair turning grey out of stress. Hilarious. “Y’know, with you being in and out all the time, I’ve been feeling pretty bored. Why don’t you drink with me more? Let’s go to a singularity and party some. You wouldn’t leave me to rot in these halls forever, would ya?” By ‘party’ she does mean ‘perform acts of violence’, but that much should be expected. “Come on, don’t let me down.” The hand not pinning Tatsuo into the corner has unconsciously started tapping the bat strung to her side against her leg. It’s not intended as a threat, but it could very well be read as a subconscious one. She’s just antsy.
