1.20.18 day 12: feat my horribly faded eyeshadow!! my skin has seen better days. side effects: watery eyes!!! all day my eyes watered. mood swings? idk if those are a side effect or not. dry skin and lips. also super tired all day.
1.18.18 day 10: well, my initial breakout is here... or at least starting to get here. ugh, it makes me mad because my skin was clearing up so fast, but i'm not going to lose hope. i know that in the end my skin will be great. does anyone know how long the IB lasts?? i'm gonna do my research. side effects: VERY dry skin especially on lips and corner of mouth as well as itchy and dry scalp. also bloody inside of nose
DOES EATING HEALTHY HELP THE IB AT ALL? or no bc it's just going to purge everything that's already under your skin?
Nearly at 40 days of accutane treatment!
(low dosage-10mg a day)
My initial breakout was horrible from about day 13-31. Not fun. But I haven’t had any major breakouts for about a week now, just another little one forming every couple of days.
Lots of scars though :(
Day 24 of accutane
and not loving it thus far :(
Initial breakout started on day 13 and is still going strong...these pimples feel like they are taking SO long to heal and go away.
would be fine if I could cover with makeup but my skin is dry so makeup looks like crap!
It’s okay though. I went to the gym bare faced and it was fine, just did my class and got outta there :) catching up with friends tomorrow so I’m excited for that
Day 24 Almost done with my first month! I'm staying at 40 mg for one more month before bumping up to 60 because it should be warmer and more humid after that so I should be less dry! I've been waking up with new pimples everyday and it sucks because I know there really isn't anything I can do for it no matter how much I wash my face. My backs also breaking out really bad right now and it hurts soo much! So far the only side effects I've had is the dryness, rash, and really sensitive skin. My skins so dry, literally I'm the Sahara desert. The rash has gotten better but it comes and goes but overall it's definitely gotten better and now it's only on my hands rather than my hole body. I plucked my brows the other day and my skin was as red and puffy as it always is when I got them waxed, it's insane. I don't know why but honestly I feel like makeup has looked better while I'm on accutane but I think it's because I've been trying so hard to conceal the insane redness, dryness, and excessive amounts of pimples. I've actually been getting a lot of compliments on my skin and my makeup recently which is so strange for me! If anyone's struggling wit makeup during accutane I'd be more than happy to share my makeup routine if you message me and there's also some really good videos on YouTube!
