“Tyrunt. Let go of the woman’s pant.” He said sternly, gaze dropping down to the Pokemon, jaws clamped onto the lady’s pant leg as its tail flicked around in amusement, big eyes staring back up.
☹ [ i'm a terrible human-being-- ]
☹ For yours to accidentally hit mine in the face with the door.
Max was a person that suffered from tunnel vision.
When she was focused on something, she was committed to it. Researching, spelunking, vying for the next meal at the Mauville Food Court… Her vision narrowed, and everything else was blocked out. On the one hand, this was handy for when she was on the scent of the next big discovery, she didn’t waver, digging in her jaws like a stubborn Granbull, refusing to give up until she got the results she wanted.
Buuuuuut on the other hand, the tunnel vision meant that she didn’t notice anything else. Like the door that was swinging out at an alarming velocity.
One minute, Max was walking to the café, nose buried in the book she was currently holding, scanning through the paragraphs describing the various habitats of certain Ghost-type Pokémon – and OH ARCEUS PAAAAAAAIN
It smashed into her nose with the force of an eighteen wheeler, making her cry out in agony and drop the book, hands clutching her face. Everything was white hot agony, and she continued to groan and whimper, hunching over to the ground as tears leaked from her eyes. Blood could be seen trickling from between her fingers in a thin stream.
