I made this while on a Discord call with @bigassfuckingmushroom (that other character - named Glitchy Tears - is also their’s. We decided in a Twitch chat that the two would have a sort of sibling rivalry-friendship relationship)
This is Ink!Tear. He’s my child (actually, he’s a few years older than me). If you have any questions, please ask and I’ll try my best to explain in more detail than I did in the purple box. Don’t know how it and Glitchy met, but whatever. That’ll be decided later (not used to having ocs that canonically know someone else’s oc. I’m… a loner by accident, lol).
The background is just my profile zoomed in with a lowered opacity over complete darkness.

This took me all day because I decided to play Dandy’s World for like three hours randomly. I will not be doing Inktobertale for a few reasons, though mostly because I cannot sit down and do art without many distractions.
It’ll be easier if I just do OcTEARber and whatever else I want. Btw, the ink parts of Filaments side is what took most of my time. I hate that I designed him this way, but I also love his design. I do, however, want his mug. Both of them, actually.
Might be the last OcTEARber art I do for a bit since I’m not super inspired and I’m already very behind. I did enjoy making this one.
Ended up like a gif, but I’m happy with it (and that’s what I decided I wanted it to be like in the end).

Glitchy doesn’t seem too happy to be talked about so animatedly. I could’ve made the ghost in Filament’s eye move too since it does do that, but it wasn’t part of the idea I had in mind.
I think I’m going to try to write the rest of the prompts I don’t have drawing ideas for into one-shots, maybe even write short stories to go with the other art I have planned. I really liked doing the snow! I don’t like snow irl (I hate being cold), and thought I’d have a hard time drawing snow, but it was actually fairly easy.

Told myself I have to do the backgrounds before I'll let myself continue doing the characters.
Drawing these two is my favorite, so this is pretty motivating. The chairs and tables count as the background (I will be reusing the backgrounds in each panel because I'm not drawing those every time).
Also, switched Glitchy's dialogue to orange and don't think I ever mentioned it. This page has no dialogue, so nothing is spoiled.
I do think Filament is a bit too small in that last panel... like he's short, but not that short. Making Glitchy look giant. I think the backgrounds should be done either tonight or tomorrow. I'm kind of busy with chores and dog walking most of the day, so I didn't give myself time to work on this until 5.
If I stay up late doing this, it will get done. But then I will be exhausted tomorrow. And I need to take care of myself first always. The comic comes second (it will be my third priority when I get my cat, fourth when I recieve commissions).
Reminder that once this is released, Filament will be available for asks. Glitchy will not. Glitchy is not my character, so I do not feel comfortable with the idea. I don't think Shroom would mind, but I really am not comfortable with answering asks for Glitchy.
If Filament is asked ABOUT Glitchy, that's fine. I'm comfortable with that and love explaining how Filament feels about his dumbass friend. But Glitchy himself will likely never be available for asks. I can analyze his character all I want to, but I don't know the character at all and it's mostly just theories. I think Glitchy looks up to Error so much that he believes he has to hate Ink (variants included).
Filament doesn't know Error or Ink. He sort of knows what Ink does, but the most he hears about Error is a bunch of conflicting opinions from everyone in the Omega Timeline.
I'm ending this post here so I don't rant about the characters, even though I do love them dearly and want to crush them in my hands at the same time.
I will likely be finishing these doodles later. Though the top one is going to be animated, so it'll take time for me to do it.
Not tagging Eri because this isn't complete and it's a little difficult to tell who is who (minus Filament since he's the only one with one eye).
Also, Filament and Glitchy Tears have the same pronouns, which I only realized when I was doing my daily hour of chores. Both go by he/it. Kinda cool, actually.
