Carefully double checking The Buttons to make sure I dare not mix up my ISAT and AHIT tags…
recently i've taken to seeing the world around me like i'm in a painting, made of brushstrokes and values.
when i close my eyes and sit on the edge of my bed i can still touch the corners of my room with my mind, and with my curtains shut mid-afternoon the dimmed lighting is washing me in blues and grays and i am just another form in a box of shapes and colors. where i exist there is shadow and light cast by my body to prove it.
when i lean against the wall there's a hard edge where my skin meets the peeling white paint, probably bordered with brown. the contour of my shoulders melts into the rest of me, my posture a gesture of resignation. my hands are indistinguishable from where they rest among my blankets, the sharp curve of my knuckles lost among the sheets' crisp creases.
sitting on the floor, reaching for my cat, the composition poses me just shy of the window; the sun spilling through the blinds hits my outstretched arm but not the rest of me. my cat, drunk on warmth and drowsiness, sprawls freely across the sill, light falling over his black fur as he indulgently pushes the blinds further apart to make room for himself. and so the painting is cut in half: me, half-cast in gray, and him, looking up to sniff at my hand, bathed in gold.
i am full of lines and movement. every place i step i take on some new color; green reflected onto my cheek in the field where i always meet my neighbor's dog, red beneath the bleeding clouds of sunset, white beneath the fluorescent lights of the air-conditioned supermarket, orange in the softer hues of morning when i feel like taking a walk. to exist in a space so full of colors and forms is nothing short of magic; and to have lights and darks and everything in between etching out every facet of me proving that i exist is like a quieter kind of celebration. that i'm alive, i'm still here.
if there is anything left of me when i go, i want it to be love. i want my ribcage full of flowers and i want grass between my phalanges, i want the yellow-orange afternoon cast over my bones to be carved in deep umbers against the earth.
(Same anon that asked about it earlier)
I think their dynamic could work well in canon honestly, if the goal of Taco's character in season 2 is to have her redeemed by the end, I could totally see Suitcase helping her with that since Suitcase is also the one who trusted and became friends with Balloon, the other character from season one who is/was seen as irredeemable by those around them
Also you got any headcanons for Tacocase you would be willing to share? I would love to hear more about it
Hell yeah, i have a bunch
Ok, so headcannon that suitcase and taco are pen pals and send each other really cool letter with pressed flowers and fancy paper because suitcase really likes making those kinda stuff and scrapbooking and such. They also have kind of tea parties and go flowerpicking in the woods sometimes and suitcase with infodump abt the symbolism and if they're poisonous or edible or what.
When they first started becoming friends, taco was just using her, but warmed up to her pretty quickly because of her happy optimistic "everyone deserves a second chance" attitude. Taco probably went off at nickel at some point too, if we're going down the full on redemption arc. And oh boy my nickel headcannons are a whole 'nother can of worms.
Oh suitcase is probably really affectionate too, which is really odd to taco and definitely flusters her to no end earlier on. Taco writes poetry for her in the letters and stuff, and they're both absolute hopeless romantics, suitcase way more than taco though.
What's the thought behind Tacocase because I am interested, I love learning about rarepairs
oh my gosh anon I am so glad you asked. Ok so funnily enough its not based at all in cannon. About a year ago me and my friends had this semi-serious au, and we got taco and suitcase to interact. It started as a joke and ended up becoming a big ship of ours.
but the dynamic behind it is like "sunshine x grumpy/jaded character" and the idea that they make each other better and bounce off each other well, bonding over a love of tea. Taco helps suitcase stand up for herself and become for confident in herself and stop people pleasing, while suitcase helps her mellow out and trust a bit more and stop murdering people.
plus its always fun to have taco crumble over a pretty woman
help why is this account actually getting attention
me going insane
This is uh, lore, if anyone cares. Not ii related but osc related, kinda. Its more for a few AUs than anything else. also world building is fun. you can ignore this if you’re not interested
Always open to random asks, whether it be questions about my Silly OCs, or to show me some really cool rocks...
