Swatching to find my favorite shade of mint ink! I love Pistachio from Ferris Wheel Press but it’s just so thick! Maccha Mousse or Wearinguel’s Vayu are probably making it to the next round of trials. Don’t know what happened to Philosopher’s Stone in the sunlight but back inside (photo 1) it looks totally normal. 🤷♀️ Swatched on Tomoe River Paper.
Finally got my hands on something I have been wanting to try. The Shachihata Washi Tape Base Pen. You know how it’s basically impossible to write on washi tape that you put in your journal? Well this pen puts a coating on the washi that makes it totally (and reliably) writable! Check out this test I did with a plain piece of white washi and then the same white washi with the same pens, plus the coating! The colors are brighter, there is less skipping, things are more saturated, and the writing experience is amazing! I just used this in my travel journal to create boxes of colored washi and then wrote my entries on them. Love it!
Back in April I went to Paper World Expo and treated myself to a trifold A6 cover for my Hobonichi from Imperfect Concepts and I couldn’t be happier with it! From the one of a kind pain to the grommets that give the appearance of stars. So when I saw this necklace with a glowing mountain pendant I knew it would make the perfect charm!
