Patrick, known as inkaxis, is an 18 year old digital artist from Australia. He got his start making GIF art and 3D animations around the end of 2013 and has quickly garnered attention in Tumblr's Cinema 4D community for his modern, geometric, and vibrant creations. When asked about what influenced him to start making digital art, Patrick said:
“I already had had a basic understanding of 3D animation and GIF-making, but I had never really tried making GIF art before. It wasn't until I saw the works of other GIF-artists that I was inspired to play around with it myself. I remember in the beginning, it was just a way to experiment and learn more about 3D animation, but eventually I got swept away by the different styles and types of GIFs there are. It is something which has always motivated me and kept me in a state of awe.”
Some of Patrick’s favorite artists include Guillaume Kurkdjian, Hayden Zezula, Matthias Brown and Mathew Lucas.
