“I believe there’s somebody out there for everyone who wants it. I believe everyone’s got at least one person that they can really give themselves to with no shame, or fear. I guess you could call that true love. I don’t really believe in soulmates, though. I don’t think there are people that are destined for each other, that’s just... not how life works.” Henry shrugs. “No one’s destined for everything, your life and love is yours.”

33: Do you have trust issues?

“I... well... It depends on what you really mean. I’m willing to trust people, sure, just not... on a personal level.” He’s quiet for a moment. “I... guess I do, actually...”

56: How many people have you fist fought?

Henry looks a little surprised. "W- well, none, really. I'm not a fighter, and... I'm not really counting everything that's happened here in the studio, and even then, I wouldn't call anything a fist fight."

❝It's good ta see ya again, Mister Stein!❞ Even after Henry's absence, it seems that a certain somebody still remembers exactly how he likes his coffee. It's offered eagerly, as is a welcoming sort of smile. ❝How's the family?❞ ~ ☕

“Hey there! It has been a while, hasn’t it?” Henry can’t help the bright smile that appears on his face when presented with the mug, happily taking it. “They’re alright, I never do like having to go back to visit. They still don’t like that I’m an artist, but not much is going to change that.” He shakes his head, sipping the coffee. “How’ve you been holding up, Arthur?”

“You’re right! You’re absolutely right.” Henry nods, marching his way down the hall. Sammy stays a foot behind him. “Bendy or no, we’re going to run. I have a theory that once he leaves when we get to the next room over-”

Henry doesn’t get time to finish the thought. The ink demon springs up from the flooded area before them, lunging at the pair far too fast. Sammy reacts before Henry does, latching onto the man’s arm and dragging him towards the room with the lift at an incredibly fast pace. Henry begins to trip over himself, but regains his balance. Moments later, the door behind them is closed and barred by Henry himself, leaning his head against it with a shaky sigh.

After a moment, Sammy pipes up. “It appears you weren’t entirely able to escape the demon’s grasp.” When Henry tilts his head, Sammy crosses his arms. “The back of your neck is bleeding.”

2: Who did you last say “I love you” to?

“Oh, gee, that’s sort of tough...” He bites his lip. “I think it was someone at work, he was helping me out with moving some papers to where they needed to be and I told him I loved him for it. It, you know... didn’t exactly mean much but that’s the last person I said I love you to.”

Henry groans, stirring slightly. His head aches again, and he finds it hard to move his limbs. He’s on the ground, and as far as he can tell, he’s in the main area of the music department. “I know, I know... I’m fine, look...” He addresses the askers quietly. From the angle he’s at, he can see Sammy, hardly a foot away, fending off Searchers with the axe. Granted he’s shouting something about “staying away from his sacrifice”, Henry can appreciate the defense of his life. “Sammy, what...?” He manages to roll onto his side, starting to stand. As he does, a Searcher leaps up from the ground, an inhuman noise leaving its gaping maw. "W-wait-!" Henry instinctively jumps away from the creature, his arm raised in defense, when he sees the axe fly past him, the blade narrowly missing his head. It does, however, deduce the Searcher to a puddle. "Will you watch it with that thing?!" He scolds the inky man, only realizing his mistake when the gaze of the mask falls to him. "Oh... oh no...."

You should find some bandages

“Easier said than done.” Sammy jumps in before Henry can respond.

Henry himself has one hand pressed to the back of his neck. “Yeah, I don’t know if we’ll be able to... I think we’ll just have to wait for it to stop on its own.” He looks around for a moment, taking in the surroundings. “Maybe... if we wait long enough for Bendy to leave... We can go back out there and check out that door. Otherwise, the deeper we go, the more trapped we are. I can’t think of any exits we’ll be finding in the future.”
