Dark smiled at him and gently rested her head on his shoulder.
“I’m glad I got to see you… without the hidden identity. I really enjoy getting know you.”
Sigh.
“I was paranoid. And guilty. Still…still am. But it used to be so bad I couldn’t stand myself, much less the reminders of everything I’ve lost along the way.”
Dark hummed in understanding, she related to that a lot more than she’d like to admit.
“I understand… wanting to erase any trace of the past and the mistakes that were made…”
“Heh…I’d say it’s probably sitting in some old journal, but…I’m pretty sure I blacked out every name in those things.”
”Really?”
She tilted her head a bit.
“Why’s that, if you don’t mind me asking?”

A bunch of presents that you definitely didn’t put there are now under the tree…odd!
The presents addressed to Dark include a dip pen and a set of fancy black inkwells with purple sparkles, a moth plushie, and a couple of very old books in excellent condition.
Void gets coal and the vague sense that he should be nicer to people. :3

He takes in a deep breath, and calms down a bit.
“…thanks, Dark. Sorry, I…I try to keep my composure better.”
”Don’t be sorry, the distress is understandable.. I just don’t want you to get too stressed..”

He puts his face in his hands.
Dark placed a comforting hand on his back, attempting to soothe and ground him.
“Hey, hey, it’s alright. We’ll find your name..”
She then reached out to gently pull his hands away from his face.
“I’m sure it’s not completely lost, and I’ll help in any way I can..”
”I must’ve- I- oh, seasons and solstices-“
