It feels very surreal when someone your age you knew died. Time feels faster this way.
please stop asking me to apologize for the actions of people filled with hate. please stop holding individuals who are only pertinent to a situation because of their faith, responsible for the behavior of a terrorist. please let me mourn this loss of life, this dimming of the light of the world, this egregious and hideous crime, without attacking myself or my faith.
