There's a garden in my neighborhood that somehow manages to have blooming daffodils before anyone else. When I start to feel envious (which I do every year, I admit it), I remind myself that my bulbs will bloom in time, too. It's easy to look at someone else's gifts or talents and compare yourself and feel like you're falling short. But your gifts are within you, waiting for their right time to bloom.
