Gold
The corridors of my heart quiver with excitement. How is it you know of my beauty when I am still such a beast? I am a product of such hurt. Damned by these desires for only a taste. That which I disdain will become my saving grace. My shame will become my honor. The edge of my soul trembles with anticipation. I have crossed the boundaries of time for this moment. I am intoxiacated by the victory to come. My bone is my sword My blood runs like fire seething every inch of my flesh. My eyes are like steel. I am unmovable, I am unbreakable.
I find comfort knowing one day the shadows that consume me will soon be filled with light. The world unseen will become my kingdom. And I will reign until the stars fade and I am called home. My world will one day be so bright that even now I am blinded and in awe. My reign will go beyond the edge of creation itself. I am elated beyond articulation. The shadows of my mind house a temple of gold.
