~ I felt drawn to start this thread by sharing a little about the inner planets in general; in addition, I have included the placement of mine, as well as, their elemental balance. Outside of the Ascendant, which is no planet but instead is the beginning of the chart, these five forces are some of the main contributors of our individual identity. Though we may be used to analyzing our self by our Sun, Moon and/or Ascendant sign primarily; it is Mercury, Venus and Mars that open up how our humanity blends with our spirituality! ~
Mercury rules our mind, thoughts, beliefs and communicative abilities; it governs our expression, mentalities and intellectual energies.
Venus articulates our relationships, loving senses, artistry, beauty, pleasure, self worth, financial stability and health care; with Venus we gain our sensuality, peacefulness and value.
Mars ignites our passion, desires, drive and active energy; the elements of us that seize the moment with confidence and initiative.
The Sun serves our sense of wholeness, the integration of all of our ways of being; it is our shining ability and the details that direct our vitality.
The Moon molds our moods, emotions, intuitions and feelings; bringing up our insecurities, sensitivities, nurturing instincts and care taking energies.
The Ascendant, well, it begins our journey; organizing the entire outline of the chart, by claiming our creative self!
