 sorry to bother you with this, Ruby. I didn’t know who to go to... “ She admitted, moving her 

hand higher to cover the crackling wound. She could withstand the sparks but she didn’t 

want to endanger Ruby in any way. “ Do you think you can help me? “

Ash’s feet moved quickly, almost rhythmically. In fact, one wouldn't be too far off to assume that he was doing some strange kind of dance. Of course, a dance normally didn’t involve spinning kicks. Or punches. Or a sword. What Ash was doing was practicing a martial art that his big brother taught him. The “dancing” was meant to throw enemies off their guard, as well as to make himself unpredictable to them. Because of the unorthodox nature of this art, he was often ridiculed by his peers. As such, he was in a spot just outside of the school courtyard, where few students came by. Emphasis on “few”, as he would soon find out.

Cinder leaned back in her chair.  Considering her scroll.  She quite possibly couldn’t believe what she’d left on Emerald’s voicemail.  Though one could blame a lack of sleep.  Or maybe she could blame it on a misdial.  Which would happen.  The message she’d left for the girl had been of the odd variety, but as long as Emerald didn’t question she couldn’t care less.
