Here’s some naval history! I found this photo in an album of snapshots of turn-of-the-century Manlla. This ship, a passenger steamer "ran aground and was wrecked near Innoshima on the 2nd September 1899 when on route from San Francisco for Manila with troops and supplies.” https://www.wrecksite.eu/wreck.aspx?237513
