I laughed so hard because I found a post a while back that someone was sad they didn't get to fuck the rhyming tree from da:o. I feel so bad for the devs, it's a wonder that they even listen to us at all anymore.

So it wasn't that far fetched that they'd want to fuck a tree, but yes I wouldn't listen to them at all anymore, the way some parts of the fandom are acting smh.

Yeah, I mean I can understand that they're disappointed, I would be disappointed if I couldn't romance my favorite, but I would never be rude to anyone? Like wtf is wrong with you, they're doing so much for inclusivity and representation already, but it's still not enough oh no, I can't fuck the dwarf, better send them some rude messages.

It was the same when they announced that Cassandra was straight, reactions (the bad ones) ranged from 'let's just ignore this','this is bullshit she's definitely not straight' to this one disgusting comic labeling 'straight' as a disease and how they could cure it (it was probably meant as a joke, but I found it extremely distasteful, especially seeing how this was coming from the same people who said it was hurtful to others if you're disappointed that Dorian is gay).

i'm with you on that one - between the cole issue and the shitstorm over varric, i have NO idea how bioware still manages to tolerate the fanbase. i know if i had to deal with them i'd have resigned a long time ago. it's impossibble to please them <<

It seems however much they do right fandom will always go batshit crazy over that one thing they don't like. And I don't get it? Why can't they be happy with what we got already? It seems like a very well balanced group of people in regards to companions and advisors so there should be someone for everyone. Bioware should just ignore everyone and do what they think is best, because if they did what those people want everybody could romance everybody and we wouldn't get any sort of realistic variety at all. Oh but I forgot, this is a game with dragons and magic and stuff so I'm in the wrong for wanting some sort of realism when it comes to romances.

Did the OP play a different game than the rest of us? Fenris has a huge amount of character growth, going from distrusting all mages to falling in love with mage Hawke and standing with them protecting mages if Hawke sides with them! What?

Considering they also want him to be a dual-wielding warrior, I'm not sure they actually played the game, or payed too much attention. Maybe they rushed through the whole game in like 5 hours and never talked to him or did his companion quests?

It's really strange how someone could just blatantly ignore everything about a character. :c

I read a let’s play for that game where they randomized all the character’s skins and the pc ended up being Charlie Brown from the Peanuts comics and Jesus was Goku from DBZ and the pc accidentally got a woman pregnant by hugging. Hilarious.
